International Relations (IR)
Welcome to Sweden!
IR, International Relations, is responsible for the international students arriving at SLU Umeå. Their primary role is to meet new exchange students at the airport or train station upon their arrival in Umeå.
The team also provides exchange students with keys, accompanies them to their new accommodation, and supplies all necessary information about their stay in Sweden and at SLU.
The International Relations Board is also part of the Local Committee for IFSA.
IR organises activities for international students throughout the academic year, at least once a month.
