The Jaktvårdsföreningen proudly manages the hunting grounds accessible to the student union. We organise several communal hunts as well as other hunting-related events, and members have access to the Sävar shooting range.

Jaktvårdsföreningen is a section of the Skogshögskolan student union, with membership typically around 50-60 people per year.

The association exists to provide students at Skogshögskolan with hunting opportunities during their studies in Umeå. The association manages three different hunting areas near Umeå. Rönnäs is the largest, with Granbäckfors and Hössjö being the other two. Together, the association's leased hunting grounds cover approximately 7000 hectares.
